Job summary

Cevio Hotel Corporation in Tacloban seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest facilities, ensuring cleanliness and presentation across all areas.

You will lead a team of attendants and night cleaners, conduct inspections, coordinate with events, and enforce safety and chemical handling standards. The role requires flexibility in shifts and immediate availability; local residency is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel housekeeping experience with supervisory duties.
• Knowledge of public area cleaning, floor care machinery, and chemical safety (OSHA/SDS).
• Strong leadership and communication with eye for detail.
• Able to work irregular shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Residing in Tacloban or nearby areas.
• Immediate availability.

About the role

Supervise and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetic presentation of all public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest facilities throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, dining areas, and staff spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Assign daily tasks, schedule, and supervise public area attendants and night cleaners, providing ongoing training and guidance

• Coordinate heavy-duty cleaning projects (e.g., deep carpet cleaning, floor polishing, window washing, high-dusting)

• Monitor and manage cleaning chemicals, equipment, and consumables; report machinery repairs or maintenance needs immediately

• Respond promptly to guest requests or spills in public spaces and coordinate venue setup/cleanliness with the events team

About you

• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, with supervisory or team-lead experience preferred

• In-depth knowledge of public area cleaning procedures, floor care machinery, and chemical safety (OSHA/SDS protocols)

• Strong leadership, communication, and eye-for-detail skills

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

• Residing in Tacloban or nearby areas.
