Job summary

Melco Resorts Leisure (PHP) Corporation seeks a Supervisor, Public Areas to ensure thorough cleaning of all public spaces within the complex, including washrooms and external areas, in line with SOPs and five-star standards. Responsibilities include daily briefings, coordinating with engineering and maintenance, and upholding safety policies for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years working experience with minimum 1 year Senior Attendant.
• Secondary school certificate or equivalent professional training.

Responsibilities

• Check cleanliness of all public areas to ensure standards.
• Initiate and monitor training plans for public area staff.
• Ensure specialized cleaning programs are followed to maintain high standards.
• Manage the quality assurance program and 24/7 standards.
• Ensure shifts are properly manned; arrange OT if required.
• Adhere to health and safety policies for staff and guests.
• Communicate with other departments to service guests' cleaning needs.
• Maintain grooming standards and Code of Conduct.
• Participate in health and safety activities to minimize workplace hazards.
• Report and log defects into HotSOS and follow up.
• Conduct daily briefings with teams.
• Maintain maintenance communications and follow-through with maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering to keep the property in pristine condition.
• Develop preventive programs with engineering to meet standards.
• Represent the company in public areas as an ambassador.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions and security issues to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Position Summary

In accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of Melco Resorts Leisure (PHP) Corporation, the Supervisor, Public Areas is responsible to ensure the effective and efficient cleaning of all public areas of the complex including internal, external, washrooms, front of the house, back of the house and waste depot.

Primary Responsibilities

• Checks the cleanliness of all public areas to ensure cleaning and presentation standards are consistent with established Minimum Standards, Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and five star standards.
• Initiates actively and monitors training plan to ensure Supervisors, Housekeeping (Public Area) and Attendant, Public Area are properly trained to perform duties entrusted to them.
• Ensures all specialized cleaning programs are followed to maintain the presentation of the property to high standards.
• Manages the quality assurance program to ensure quality standards are maintained 24/7.
• Ensures all shift are properly manned to carry out cleaning duties as per the SOPs arrange OT if required.
• Ensures all staff adheres to health and safety policies and procedures for the safety of the workers and guests.
• Communicates with fellow team members and other related departments to proactively service internal and external guests, and ensure their cleaning needs fulfilled.
• Ensures all cleaning staff on shift complies with established grooming standards and Code of Conduct.
• Participates actively in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized for the health and safety of all patrons and cleaning staff.
• Reports and key-in defect into HotSOS system and follow up.
• Conducts daily briefing with the allocated teams.
• Upkeeps and communicates maintenance issues to the maintenance team and proper follow through to their satisfactory completion.
• Works closely with engineering department to ensure the property is being kept at all times in pristine condition.
• Works out preventive programs with engineering to ensure not only in keeping up the quality standards but in intend of surprising the standards.
• Ensures the attitude and public demeanor all the EVS staffs are a true representation of the company.
• Acts also as part of the ambassador team while working in the public area.
• Adheres to all Company policies and procedure.
• Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to supervisors.
• Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.
• Ensures that Kaizen program are adhered to.

Qualifications

I. Experience

2 years working experience with minimum 1 year Senior Attendant

II. Education

Secondary school certificate or equivalent professional training.

III. Skills / Competencies

• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Excellent interpersonal/ presentation skills are preferred.
