About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house facilities meet Hotel's cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and service standards. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, managing supplies and linens, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff
• Assign room quotas, cleaning tasks, and work areas to Room Attendants and other housekeeping personnel
• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Ensure rooms are properly cleaned, arranged, and ready for guest check-in
• Monitor room turnover and coordinate room status with the Front Office
• Ensure proper implementation of housekeeping SOPs and hotel cleanliness standards
• Train, coach, and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures and guest service
• Conduct daily briefings and monitor staff attendance, performance, and productivity
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly and professionallya Coordinate with Engineering regarding maintenance issues found in guest rooms and public areas

About you

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred
• At least 1–2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a 3-star or 4-star hotel
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures, room inspection, sanitation, and cleaning standards
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
