Job summary

What you will do:

• Government & Legislative Stakeholder Engagement: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key legislators, government decision‑makers, and LGU officials to strengthen the company’s government network and advocacy efforts.
• Public Affairs & Policy Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of public affairs and government relations strategies, including influencing policy through strategic partnerships and advocacy initiatives.
• Government Liaison & Representation: Serve as the primary liaison and spokesperson between the company and government entities, ensuring effective communication and alignment on regulatory and policy matters.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee adherence to government procedures and regulatory requirements across restaurant operations to maintain strong LGU relationships and mitigate risks.
• Internal Advisory & Brand Positioning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reinforce McDonald’s brand positioning with government partners and contribute to the development of public affairs and government‑related company policies.

What we are looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or Legislative Affairs.
• Strong legislative exposure, preferably with experience working in Congress, legislative offices, or government institutions.
• Preferably a lawyer by profession, with solid experience in legal, regulatory, and government processes.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; legal or policy writing experience is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
