Job summary

McDonald's Philippines (Golden Arches Development Corporation) is seeking a Licensed Architect with 3–5 years of experience in architecture, design, construction, or retail design to lead restaurant layout and design development in the Makati area.

You will assess sites, ensure compliance with local regulations and branding standards, and coordinate with stakeholders from concept through approval, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Architect.
• 3–5 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Construction, Interior, Commercial or Retail Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and 3D design.
• Willing to travel nationwide for site visits and store walk-throughs.

What you will do:

• Restaurant Layout & Design Development: Develops and refines preliminary restaurant plans, layouts, and design concepts while ensuring alignment with approved design guidelines and branding requirements.
• Site Assessment & Compliance Planning: Conducts site visits and coordinates required surveys and tests to evaluate site conditions and ensures compliance with local regulations and global design standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Design Approval: Presents design proposals to stakeholders, incorporates feedback, and secures necessary approvals prior to project endorsement.
• Plan Review & Quality Assurance: Reviews architectural and engineering plans ensuring compliance with operational requirements, project budgets, and construction timelines, and agreed quality standards.
• Project Support & Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, facilitates plan review discussions, and supports the resolution of design issues throughout project execution.

What we are looking for:

• Must be a Licensed Architect.
• With at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Architecture, Design, Construction, Interior, Commercial, or Retail Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and 3D
