Bet On Talent is seeking a Payments Partnerships Lead to proactively identify, evaluate, onboard providers for new markets, and optimize existing market entries. You will manage relationships with PSPs and risk vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with the Director of Payments.
You will analyze costs, monitor supplier performance, stay ahead of regulatory shifts, and collaborate with Product on pricing and onboarding processes.
Location: Remote from Europe (Occasional Travel to Malta)
Reporting to Director of Payments
Proactively identify, evaluate, run demos/testing, and onboard top-tier payment providers for new market entries and existing market optimizations.
Lead day-to-day relationships with PSPs and Risk solution providers. Conduct annual contract reviews and fee renegotiations in close alignment with the Director of Payments.
Partner with the Product team to deeply analyze payment costs versus conversion/performance. Track supplier incidents and enforce escalation procedures to maintain top-tier acceptance rates.
Serve as the go-to contact for internal teams on supplier details, fee structures, and technical contacts. Take ownership in notifying all relevant departments about changes related to PSPs.
Perform continuous operational, financial, and compliance risk analyses on all supplier setups. Constantly seek improvements to existing systems and processes.
Constantly monitor queues on systems to ensure there is no outstanding tasks. (Monitor and follow up existing ones and investigate new requests).
Keep pace with competitor offerings, regulatory shifts, and emerging payment tech (crypto, open banking, mobile payments, and local payment methods).
Utilize modern AI tools (including Claude) to streamline onboarding documentation upload and contract synthesis.
5 years working experience in a similar role in a high risk industry like iGaming or Forex; with a network in offshore markets.
Proven ability to leverage an established payment network and execute rapid onboardings across multiple brands (ability to handle high-volume onboarding pipelines).
A strong command of numbers & analytical skills.
Hands-on experience collecting due diligence documentation, vetting contract terms, and optimizing pricing.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel periodically to Malta and attend key industry conferences ~2 times per year.
Professional certifications in payments, compliance, or risk management.
Experience integrating generative AI workflows (e.g., Claude) for documentation management.
