Job summary

We are seeking a Project Operations Head to oversee the successful execution of multiple engineering and construction projects from mobilization through project turnover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and compliance with budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in engineering and construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or operations management role.
• Strong background in managing MEPF projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with values ranging from medium to large-scale developments.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with Philippine Building Code, Fire Code, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and other applicable engineering regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple engineering and construction projects.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Direct and supervise Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, procurement activities, equipment utilization, and overall project performance.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review project progress, identify risks, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and resource planning to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide executive reports on project performance, financial status, risks, and key milestones.
• Ensure strict implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across all projects.
• Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, commissioning, testing, and project turnover activities.
• Lead claims management, variation orders, contract administration, and project documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and project delivery.
• Mentor and develop project teams through coaching, performance management, and technical guidance.
