VTSA International Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with Construction experience to join our engineering team in Pasig City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role focuses on managing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to high quality standards. You will coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors and clients, oversee schedules and resources, conduct site inspections, and prepare project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of construction project management or project engineering experience.
• Experience overseeing commercial, infrastructure or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and CAD software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Driver's license and willingness to conduct site visits.

About the role

VTSA International Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with Experience in Construction to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a critical part in translating design specifications into reality whilst managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. This position is integral to our company's success in delivering exceptional engineering solutions within the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning through final handover




• Monitor project timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure projects remain on schedule and within approved financial parameters




• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify that construction meets design specifications and industry standards




• Liaise with architects, contractors, subcontractors and clients to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution




• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders and technical drawings




• Identify and resolve construction challenges, implementing corrective actions to minimise delays and cost overruns




• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes and environmental standards throughout the construction process




• Manage project risks by conducting assessments and developing mitigation strategies




• Provide technical guidance to site teams and support the development of project schedules and work plans

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline




• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in construction project management or project engineering




• Proven experience overseeing commercial, infrastructure or industrial construction projects from start to finish




• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices




• Proficiency in project management software and tools, including scheduling applications and CAD software




• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams




• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to project delivery




• Experience with budget management, cost control and resource planning




• Valid driver's licence and willingness to conduct regular site visits.
