Job summary

We are seeking a Project Operations Head to oversee the successful execution of multiple engineering and construction projects from mobilization through project turnover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and compliance with budget and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop and implement project execution strategies, monitor schedules, procurement, and costs, review progress, manage risks, and report performance to senior management, while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in engineering and construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or operations management role.
Strong background in managing MEPF projects.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with values ranging from medium to large-scale developments.
Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
Familiarity with Philippine Building Code, Fire Code, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and other applicable engineering regulations.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple engineering and construction projects.
Develop and implement project execution strategies to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Direct and supervise Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers, and site personnel.
Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, procurement activities, equipment utilization, and overall project performance.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
Review project progress, identify risks, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and resource planning to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
Conduct regular project review meetings and provide executive reports on project performance, financial status, risks, and key milestones.
Ensure strict implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across all projects.
Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, commissioning, testing, and project turnover activities.
Lead claims management, variation orders, contract administration, and project documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and project delivery.
Mentor and develop project teams through coaching, performance management, and technical guidance.
