Job summary

Comrise is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-practice and operational support projects within Outsourcing NA’s PMO. You will drive AI-related initiatives and partner with business leadership to deliver on time and within budget.

You will gather requirements, facilitate kick-offs, maintain schedules and communications, track risks, and foster a collaborative team environment across functions to drive efficiency and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in project management.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.
• Experience in PMO environment is a plus.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools and process automation is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to balance tactical and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Job description

In this role you will manage cross-practice projects and operational support projects within Outsourcing NA’s Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have a passion for process improvement, establishing efficient procedures, supporting a variety ofbusiness functions and will have a successful track record in project management. As company accelerates AI adoption across Outsourcing NA, this role will support AI-related projects within the PMO's portfolio, partnering with business leadership on individual initiatives as needed, in addition to the PMO's core project and operational support work.

The Team:

The PMO is a group of passionate professionals supporting the Outsourcing North America business. The PMO identifies, prioritizes, and successfully manages large, complex cross-practice Outsourcing North America projects with definitive start/stop dates. The PMO also provides operational cross-practice support that leverages work appropriately and drives efficiency and consistency in our Outsourcing North America business.

Job Scope:

As a Project Manager in the PMO, you will manage a combination of cross-practice special projects and operational support projects for the Outsourcing North America business. All projects assigned to the PMO are reviewed and approved by Outsourcing North America leadership. This increasingly includes AI-related initiatives; the PM will support these in partnership with business leadership and PMO leadership, alongside the PMO's traditional project and operational work.

The scope of operational support projects will vary, but typically they will:

• Have impacts across health, pension and/or service center
• Include projects where Outsourcing NA integrates with other businesses and enterprise functions.
• Create efficiency and consistency in our business
• Include AI-enabled process improvement, automation, or innovation initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of the business requirements for each project
• Schedule and facilitate project kick-off meetings and ongoing meetings
• Project status updates to the rest of the PMO, the broader business, Outsourcing North America leadership and on the PMO dashboard
• Own the communication plan and project plan
• Manage projects within timelines and budgets
• Track deliverables and task completion from resources assigned to the project
• Foster a collaborative environment and promote a positive team experience
• Follow-up with one-on-one discussions with business leaders and project resources as needed
• Consult client teams and clients as needed
• Track project risks, mitigate risks and escalation issues
• Identify areas for improvement and suggest corrective actions as needed
• Gather feedback, facilitate debriefs, provide training and transition projects to the business as needed
• Partner with business leadership to support individual AI-related projects as needed, helping coordinate execution in alignment with Outsourcing NA's broader AI strategy

Operational Support Management:

• Maintain trusted client, contract, vendor and colleague data for the business Consistently deliver ongoing operational reports to the business
• Support the business with SOC and audit compliance
• Support the business with a user access tool for all internal applications
• Provide ongoing support to the business for shared collaboration tools and dashboards
• Provide the business with the ability to consistently track progress and project adoption of initiatives across all clients

General Responsibilities:

• Provide support, feedback and assistance to members of the PMO and the broader business
• Act as a back-up resource for other members of the PMO
• Assist in general priority setting and business case creation for projects within the PMO
• Adhere to best practices of project management.
• Contribute ideas to continuous process improvement
• Project Managers will receive guidance and support from the Manager of the PMO

Qualifications

• The Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project
• Experience working within a PMO environment is a plus
• Interest in or exposure to AI-enabled tools and process automation is a plus
• Possess relationship management experience in a cross-functional environment with a demonstrated ability to bring peers and partners together for the successful implementation of initiatives
• Displays a great attitude in high pressure situations with ability to negotiate and influence effective outcomes and drive results
• Demonstrate ability to balance tactical and strategic thinking and processes with demonstrated skill at translating strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables and effectively communicating across broad audiences
• Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with executives and clients
• Work as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussions
