Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Project Manager for the PMO to oversee cross-practice projects and ongoing operational support within Outsourcing North America. You will manage multiple initiatives, drive AI-enabled process improvements, and ensure alignment with leadership and the PMO dashboard.

Responsibilities include kicking off projects, maintaining communication plans, and delivering on time and budget while fostering collaboration across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in project management.
• Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.
• PMO experience is a plus; AI-related initiatives encouraged.
• Strong relationship management across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance tactical delivery with strategic planning.

The Team:

The PMO is agroup of passionateprofessionals supportingtheOutsourcing North Americabusiness.The PMOidentifies,prioritizes,and successfully manages large, complex cross-practiceOutsourcing North Americaprojects with definitive start/stop dates.The PMO also provides operational cross-practice support thatleverageswork appropriately and drives efficiency and consistency in ourOutsourcing North Americabusiness.

Job Scope:

Asa ProjectManagerin the PMO,you willmanagea combination ofcross-practice special projects and operational support projectsfor the Outsourcing North Americabusiness.All projects assigned to the PMO are reviewed and approved by Outsourcing NorthAmericaleadership. This increasingly includes AI-related initiatives; the PM will support these in partnership with business leadership and PMO leadership, alongside the PMO's traditional project and operational work.

The scope of operational support projects will vary, but typically they will:

• Haveimpactsacross health,pensionand/or service center
• Include projects whereOutsourcing NA integrates with other businessesand enterprise functionsat WTW
• Be recurring, ongoingprojects
• Create efficiency and consistency in our business
• Include AI-enabled process improvement, automation, or innovation initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Practice Project Management:

• Gain an understanding of the business requirements for each project
• Schedule andfacilitateproject kick-off meetings and ongoing meetings
• Project status updates to therest of thePMO, the broader business,Outsourcing North Americaleadershipand on the PMO dashboard
• Own the communication plan and project plan
• Manage projects within timelines and budgets
• Track deliverablesand task completionfrom resources assigned to the project
• Foster a collaborative environment and promote a positive team experience
• Follow-up with one-on-one discussions with business leaders and project resources as needed
• Consult client teams and clients as needed
• Track project risks, mitigate risksandescalate issues
• Identifyareas for improvement and suggest corrective actions as needed
• Gather feedback,facilitatedebriefs, providetrainingand transition projects to the business as needed
• Partner with business leadership to support individual AI-related projects as needed, helping coordinate execution in alignment with Outsourcing NA's broader AI strategy

Operational Support Management:

• Maintain trusted client, contract,vendorand colleague data for the business
• Consistently deliver ongoing operational reports to the business
• Support the business with SOC and audit compliance
• Support the business with a user access tool for all internal applications
• Provide ongoing support to the business for shared collaboration toolsanddashboards
• Provide the business with the ability to consistently track progress and project adoption of initiatives across all clients

General Responsibilities:

• Provide support,feedbackandassistanceto members of the PMO and the broader business
• Act as a back-up resource forothermembers of the PMO
• Assistin general priority settingand business case creationfor projectswithin thePMO
• Adhere to best practices of project management at WTW
• Contribute ideas to continuousprocessimprovement
• Project Managers will receive guidance andsupportfrom the Manager of the PMO

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience inproject management
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,Exceland Project
• Experience working within a PMO environment is a plus
• Interest in or exposure to AI-enabled tools and process automation is a plus
• Possess relationship management experience in a cross-functional environment with a demonstrated ability to bring peers and partners together for the successful implementation of initiatives
• Displays a great attitude in high pressure situations with ability to negotiate and influence effective outcomes and drive results
• Demonstrate ability to balance tactical and strategic thinking and processes with demonstrated skill at translating strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables and effectively communicating across broad audiences
• Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with executives and clients
• Work as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussions
• Possess excellent organization skills and decision-making skills
