Job summary

VTSA International Inc. seeks a Construction Project-In-Charge (PIC) in the Philippines to lead end-to-end project delivery from mobilization to turnover. The role requires strong on-site leadership, coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and schedule.

The PIC will manage scope, budgets, and documentation across nationwide project sites. The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, a licensed professional engineer

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction project management, site supervision, or project engineering.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise, MEP, or elevator and escalator projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the overall execution and management of assigned construction projects.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily site operations to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the approved schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies regarding project requirements and updates.
  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and scope of work before and during implementation.
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to maximize project efficiency.
  • Identify project risks, construction issues, and delays, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
  • Review and validate accomplishment reports, billing requirements, variation orders, and project claims.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate project inspections, punch listing, testing, commissioning (if applicable), and project turnover activities.
  • Represent the company during project coordination meetings, client meetings, and site inspections.
  • Ensure complete project documentation, including as-built drawings, turnover documents, and project close-out reports.

Job Summary

The Construction Project-In-Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and execution of assigned construction projects from mobilization to project completion.   • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Preferably a Licensed Engineer.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, site supervision, or project engineering.

  • Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise, MEP, or elevator and escalator projects is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, engineering standards, and quality control.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contracts, and technical specifications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and decision-making skills.

  • Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites nationwide.
