VTSA INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a Construction Project-In-Charge to manage projects from mobilization through turnover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to meet project goals and maintain compliance with plans and specifications. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, a licensed engineer, and 3–5 years in construction project management, with strong site supervision capabilities.
The Construction Project-In-Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and execution of assigned construction projects from mobilization to project completion. The role ensures that all construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The Project-In-Charge serves as the primary on-site representative of the company, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Take full responsibility for the overall execution and management of assigned construction projects.
Plan, organize, and supervise daily site operations to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the approved schedule and budget.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies regarding project requirements and updates.
Review project drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and scope of work before and during implementation.
Lead and supervise site engineers, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to maximize project efficiency.
Identify project risks, construction issues, and delays, and implement timely corrective actions.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
Review and validate accomplishment reports, billing requirements, variation orders, and project claims.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, company policies, and client requirements.
Coordinate project inspections, punch listing, testing, commissioning (if applicable), and project turnover activities.
Represent the company during project coordination meetings, client meetings, and site inspections.
Ensure complete project documentation, including as-built drawings, turnover documents, and project close-out reports.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Preferably a Licensed Engineer.
At least 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, site supervision, or project engineering.
Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise, MEP, or elevator and escalator projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, engineering standards, and quality control.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contracts, and technical specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites nationwide.
