Job summary

VTSA INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a Project Engineer (Elevator Industry) to join our engineering team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of elevator projects, including installations, modernisations and maintenance, with on-site and office-based collaboration.

You will oversee technical aspects, coordinate with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies, and ensure safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of project engineering experience, preferably in elevator lifts.
• Knowledge of elevator systems and installation procedures.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office; PMP or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee elevator installation and modernization projects within timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site assessments to determine requirements and potential challenges.
• Prepare technical specs, drawings, work schedules and safety plans.

About the role

VTSA INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a Project Engineer (Elevator Industry) to join our engineering team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of elevator projects. As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of elevator installations, modernisations, and maintenance projects from conception through completion. This role is integral to ensuring project timelines are met, quality standards are maintained, and client satisfaction is achieved. You will work on-site and in our office, coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to deliver excellence in the elevator industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee elevator installation and modernisation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality specifications

2. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and potential challenges

3. Prepare detailed project documentation including technical specifications, drawings, work schedules, and safety plans

4. Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with building codes and safety standards

5. Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures to address deviations from the plan

6. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations

7. Manage project budgets and track expenditures to maintain cost control

8. Prepare project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and completion documentation

9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during elevator testing, commissioning, and handover phases

10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on all project sites

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the elevator or lift industry

3. Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, installation procedures, and modernisation practices

4. Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite

5. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

7. Sound understanding of Philippine building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

8. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in technical documentation and site work

9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required

10. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or relevant industry certifications is advantageous
