Job summary

MaxBlocks Construction Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to supervise on-site activities, ensuring execution aligns with technical specifications and project requirements.

You will lead planning, coordinate teams, monitor safety and quality, and present weekly progress reports to management. A Civil Engineering degree with PE license and 3–5 years in construction are required; strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Willingness to work at project sites is required.

Qualifications

About the role

The Project Engineer provides direct supervision and oversees the execution of on-site activities, ensuring that all project operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with the required technical specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, resource allocation, execution, and overall implementation to achieve project objectives.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Monitor and supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
• Conduct regular project meetings and prepare comprehensive progress reports for management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, quality requirements, company policies, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare and validate weekly work plans, ensuring alignment and coordination of project scope, scheduled targets, work methodologies, sequencing, safety requirements, materials, manpower, equipment, tools, and required permits.
• Conduct quality inspections and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for identified deficiencies, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare on-site estimates and monitor project schedules based on actual site conditions, including daily, weekly, and monthly assessments.
• Provide technical support and recommendations on site and assist in resolving construction-related issues and challenges.

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Civil Engineering License is required.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
• Knowledgeable in construction processes, project coordination, engineering standards, and industry practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Knowledge in formworks, rebars, concreting and other construction related processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
