About the role
The Project Engineer provides direct supervision and oversees the execution of on-site activities, ensuring that all project operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with the required technical specifications, standards, and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, execution, and overall implementation to achieve project objectives.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor and supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
- Conduct regular project meetings and prepare comprehensive progress reports for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, quality requirements, company policies, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and validate weekly work plans, ensuring alignment and coordination of project scope, scheduled targets, work methodologies, sequencing, safety requirements, materials, manpower, equipment, tools, and required permits.
- Conduct quality inspections and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for identified deficiencies, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare on-site estimates and monitor project schedules based on actual site conditions, including daily, weekly, and monthly assessments.
- Provide technical support and recommendations on site and assist in resolving construction-related issues and challenges.
About you
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Civil Engineering License is required.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
- Knowledgeable in construction processes, project coordination, engineering standards, and industry practices.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Knowledge in formworks, rebars, concreting and other construction related processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be assigned to project sites and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
