Job summary

Landers is seeking a licensed Architect/Engineer to lead site coordination, cost monitoring, scheduling and quality control on projects in the Philippines. You will review contractor activities on site and prepare reports.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of construction and project management experience, strong reading of plans and specifications, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance and quality control by ensuring strict implementation of contract provisions and conduct regular quality inspections.
• Perform technical evaluation and cost estimates.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Prepare Site Reports indicating Project Accomplishments, Issues and Concerns and Schedule Management.
• Supervise the proper implementation of construction operations by ensuring strict compliance of all contract provisions.

About the role

The position reports directly to the Construction Manager. Responsible for Site Coordination, Cost Monitoring, Scheduling and Quality Control. This includes reviewing and monitoring of Contractor Activities on site and preparation of reports. The applicant should have knowledge in various computer applications especially, Microsoft Word, Excel, Auto Cad and should be well-versed in reading Plans and Specifications.
