Net Pacific, Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila, seeks a Senior Project Director - Mechanical Engineer to own major mechanical projects and lead cross-functional teams from inception to delivery. This is a full-time leadership role reporting to senior management.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, schedules and resources while upholding safety, quality and client satisfaction, with a track record of delivering complex engineering programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership role.
• Valid Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer.
• PM qualification such as PMP or CAPM or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee planning, execution, and completion of large-scale mechanical engineering projects.
• Manage budgets, timelines, resources and quality standards to meet client specifications and contracts.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional engineering teams including engineers, technicians and support staff.
• Develop project plans, risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders and management on progress and issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance and other departments to optimise resources and project efficiency.
• Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and apply lessons learned from prior projects.
• Represent the company at client meetings, presentations and project handovers.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Director - Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that represents a strategic leadership opportunity within our organisation. As Senior Project Director, you will take ownership of major mechanical engineering projects, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception through completion. This role is pivotal to our continued growth and reputation for project excellence, requiring both technical acumen and strong management capabilities. You will report directly to senior management and will have a significant impact on project outcomes and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale mechanical engineering projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a project management or project leadership role

• With Valid Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing large, complex mechanical engineering projects from conception through delivery

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, design principles, manufacturing processes and installation procedures

• Professional certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or equivalent project management qualification

• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively whilst maintaining quality standards

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop engineering professionals

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to senior-level clients and executives

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Proficiency with project management software and engineering design tools

• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes and regulations
