Net Pacific, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila is seeking a Project In Charge (Electrical Engineer) to lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion on a full-time basis.

You will manage schedules, budgets, teams, and client coordination to deliver high-quality electrical solutions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a valid REE license, and at least five years of project management experience in electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Valid REE license or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical engineering project management or supervision.
• Expertise in electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in the Philippines and internationally.
• Experience with AutoCAD/ETAP or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee electrical engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Lead and supervise technical teams, including engineers and technicians, for effective project execution and quality deliverables.
• Prepare detailed proposals, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine scope and resource needs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify objectives and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and completion certificates.
• Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment with quality and cost control.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project In Charge (Electrical Engineer) to join Net Pacific, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. As Project In Charge, you will be responsible for leading technical teams, managing project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations. This position is strategically important to our organisation as it directly impacts our ability to deliver quality solutions to our clients and maintain our reputation as a leader in the electrical engineering sector.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution
• Valid Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license or equivalent professional certification
• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in electrical engineering project management or supervision
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable in the Philippines and internationally
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with varying complexity levels
• Excellent technical competency in using industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design programs
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse technical teams effectively
• Exceptional project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in construction project management or industrial electrical systems is highly desirable
