Job summary

World Vision International (New) seeks a Program Officer for the Albay Area Development Program to lead community-based initiatives promoting environmental resilience and inclusive development. You will liaise with local government, partners, and communities, ensuring activities align with strategic goals and respond to vulnerable populations.

The role requires field presence, strong collaboration, and capability to monitor progress, manage budgets, and report results to the Area Program team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 2 years NGO program experience.
• Experience coordinating with LGUs, government agencies, and partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and monitoring of community-based initiatives for environmental resilience, livelihoods, and inclusive development.
• Coordinate and monitor Technical Programs against targets, timelines, quality and budget.
• Build linkages with government, CBOs, churches and other stakeholders.
• Prepare timely monthly, semi-annual and annual program reports and ensure safeguarding policies.
