Job summary

World Vision invites a Program Officer for the Zamboanga del Norte Area Development Program to lead design, implement, and monitor community-based initiatives that promote environmental resilience and inclusive development, coordinating with local stakeholders and partners.

The role requires working with government agencies and communities to ensure effective planning, tracking, and reporting while safeguarding child wellbeing and sustainability. Open-ended posting based in Zamboanga del Norte.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Community Development, or related Social Sciences.
• Trained on LEAP 3 and DPA or foundations of Community Organizing and Development.
• At least 2 years in NGO program/project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and monitoring of community-based initiatives.
• Coordinate with local stakeholders, government agencies, and partners.
• Ensure activities align with strategic goals and respond to community needs.
• Monitor targets, timelines, quality, and budget for Technical Programs.
