Job summary

World Vision International seeks a Program Officer for the Zamboanga del Norte Area Development Program to lead design, implementation, and monitoring of community initiatives focused on environmental resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive development. The role liaises with local government, partners, and communities to meet program goals and respond to needs in ZDN.

Qualifications

Graduate degree or equivalent in social sciences or development fields.
At least 2 years' NGO program experience and community development work.
Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to coordinate with partners.

Responsibilities

Develops annual implementation plans aligned with the Area Program plan.
Coordinates and monitors technical programs against targets, timelines, quality, and budget.
Ensures integrated program implementation across assigned areas.
Monitors achievement of targets and budget utilization.
Provides recommendations for expansion and funding models.
Facilitates community planning, reporting, and advocacy for child wellbeing.
Maintains linkages with government, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
