Responsibilities

• Monitor production speed and quality to minimize waste and cost.
• Conduct audits on daily processing efficiency and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Strictly implement SOP, GMP and sanitation procedures on all equipment and lines.

Job description

Basic Functions of the Job

• Supervising, coordinating, monitoring and planning operational activities of canned tuna from misting of pre-cooked fish to seaming of cans employing the correct procedures and effective controls to attain highest possible recovery at lowest manning level and other operational cost in abeyance to SOP, GMP, HACCP standards.
• Executes and controls effectively the production process flow in order to attain highest recovery at a minimum operational cost. Likewise, budget is prepared for daily materials requirements which might also include capital expenditures (CAPEX) with corresponding justifications.
• Strict monitoring of production process considering speed and quality to attain higher recovery at a minimum operational cost (e.g.-minimum flakes, etc.)
• Conducts audit on the daily processing efficiency result and implement effective action plans to eliminate process deviation in achieving the objective.
• Implement strictly SOP, GMP and sanitation procedures (tools/equipment/processing line).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Fishery or related science course.
• Basic Supervisory and Leadership, Training for Trainer GMP, SOP, HACCP
• At least 3-5 years related experience
• Computer Literate, Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Have general knowledge on fish canning industry.
