Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Cavite City is seeking a Production Supervisor to monitor operations and ensure compliance with standards. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and have experience in food manufacturing. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in Food Manufacturing as Production in-charge or Production Supervisor.
  • Technical knowledge in Food Safety HACCP is an advantage.

  • Ensure productivity and efficiency standards are met.
  • Maintain an orderly and safe workplace through 5S programs.
  • Motivate team members to perform to set criteria.

Education

Job description
Major Functions
  • Monitor the operation of assigned section and trigger corrective actions.
  • Ensures that Set standard Productivity and Efficiency are consistently met.
  • Ensures that set standard yield and output are constantly accomplished.
  • Ensures that product standards set by the plant are religiously met.
  • Responsible for effective usage of materials and resources of his/her assigned section/areas.
  • Ensures that assigned section follow set sanitation (SSOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), & Hygiene requirements.
  • Maintains an orderly and safe workplace through implementation of 5S programs and safety programs.
  • Utilize technical expertise to ensure continuous improvement of product and processes resulting to reduction of manufacturing cost.
  • Recommend procedural or any process related improvement that impacts t the overall quality of products and process.
  • Motivates the team to ensure all team members perform to the set criteria.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree, Food Technology or Industrial Engineering Graduate, Nutrition, or Science related course.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS Word Excel, PPT.) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and procedures
  • Strong team building, decision making and people management skills.
  • Knowledge in Food Safety Practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in a Food Manufacturing company as Production in-charge or Production Supervisor is a must. Technical knowledge in Food Safety HACCP is an advantage.
