Job summary

Frabelle Corporation in Manila is seeking a Production Quality Supervisor to monitor the tuna canning line, ensuring strict SOP, GMP, and HACCP compliance and maintaining high product quality.

You will lead a quality team, investigate complaints, and coordinate with QA, with strong English and computer skills, and the stamina to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Science, Fishery, Engineering.
• Training & Vocational: Supervisory management, Training for trainer.
• HACCP, Auditing System.
• At least 3-5 years related experience.
• Proficient in oral and written English, Computer literate.
• Physically and mentally fit to work under pressure; initiative, accurate, careful, innovative and forbearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production processing line to ensure SOP, GMP, HACCP adherence.
• Monitors quality systems and sanitation on the processing line.
• Evaluates quality-related complaints from buyers.
• Oversees activities in Quality Control Section.
• Organizes and directs work, delegating tasks as needed.
• Knowledgeable about tuna canning processes.
• Works well in teams.

Job description

Basic Functions of the Job

• Supervises and monitors activities in production processing line to ensure strict observance of SOP, GMP and HACCP implementation in the production process, to minimize and prevent any possible alteration resulting into low standard quality.
• Monitors implementation of quality system (SOP, GMP, HACCP) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) in the processing line to ensure product quality and reliability
• Evaluates quality-related complaints from buyers
• Monitors overall activities in Quality Control Section
• Able to organize work, directs, delegates and have the work done as instructed
• Knowledgeable about food industry, particularly in tuna canning process
• Capable to work in teams
