Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enforce GMP standards, hygiene, sanitation, and allergen controls across processing lines.
• Monitor HACCP CCPs and daily logs for audit readiness.
• Lead root-cause analyses and CAPA when quality deviations occur.
• Oversee shift output, task allocations, and machine utilization to hit targets.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and verify batch records.
• Drive line efficiency and reduce scrap using 5S and continuous improvement.
• Lead, train, and mentor operators on SOPs, GMP, and HACCP monitoring.
• Resolve shift-level operational or interpersonal issues promptly.
• Ensure OSHA safety guidelines, PPE usage, and LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate with QA and Sanitation teams for turnaround times.

About the role

As our Production Supervisor, you will manage daily shift operations while serving as a primary champion for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP protocols on the shop floor. You will lead line crews, ensure output targets are met, and guarantee every product leaving our facility complies with strict quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce strict compliance with GMP standards, personal hygiene policies, sanitation guidelines, and allergen controls across all processing lines.
• Monitor, execute, and document HACCP Critical Control Points (CCPs) and daily operational logs to guarantee regulatory and food safety audit readiness.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions (CAPA) when quality non-conformances, sanitation lapses, or line deviations occur.
• Oversee daily shift output, task allocations, and machine utilization to hit output targets without compromising product safety or quality.
• Perform regular in-process quality inspections, verifying batch records and weight/measure compliance.
• Drive line efficiency and reduce scrap, leveraging 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lead, train, and mentor operators and line technicians on standard operating procedures (SOPs), GMP requirements, and HACCP monitoring.
• Resolve shift-level operational or interpersonal issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety guidelines, proper PPE usage, and machine lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
• Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and Sanitation teams to ensure efficient turnaround times between product runs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Industrial Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a high commitment to quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills during line stoppages or quality deviations.
