Job summary

ASYA GLASS PHILIPPINES INCORPORATED in Davao City is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, and drive efficient process execution. You will oversee scheduling, training, quality checks, and reporting, lead teams, and push continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma principles.

You will manage production performance, coach staff, monitor equipment, and ensure compliance with safety policies while maintaining records for timely job-order

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in people handling or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of managing production processes.
• Experience in quality control and safety compliance.
• Good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Open to adopting company procedures and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge in Lean Management and Six Sigma is an advantage.

About the role

A Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily production operations in the plant, ensuring compliance with safety policies, efficient process execution, and timely completion of job orders. Facilitates training, conducts quality inspections, manages production priorities, and maintains accurate records through regular monitoring and reporting. Collaborates with various teams to optimize production efficiency and address operational challenges. Ensures that production operation processes flow smoothly by overseeing production employee performance to support speed and quality company goals.

Key responsibilities

• Accomplish production performance targets by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees

• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures

• Maintain productive workers by selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities

• Monitor workflow by observing production controls and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, and facilitating corrective actions to process rejections

• Monitor output of each process

• Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and revising schedules

• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques

• Conduct regular communications with Production Teams regarding Production Concerns, Announcements, Performance and Competency Feedback

• Provide production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data

• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures

About you

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
