Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Supervisor to oversee daily food manufacturing operations and ensure consistent product quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards. In this role, you will lead production teams, coordinate with cross‑functional departments, and continuously optimize processes to meet production targets. The ideal candidate has strong leadership capabilities, technical understanding of food manufacturing processes, and proven experience in implementing safety and quality protocols. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the company’s commitment to delivering high‑quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily food production activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
  • Ensure products are manufactured on time and within quality and cost objectives.
  • Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety protocols.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
  • Lead, train, and supervise production staff to promote productivity, safety, and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.
  • Monitor raw material and packaging inventory in coordination with the supply chain team.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working condition; coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering department.
  • Enforce strict compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present performance metrics to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, systems, and employee performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
