Job summary

Delimondo Food Specialties Inc. is seeking a production supervisor with 3–5 years in manufacturing and 1–2 years in a supervisory role. You will manage production scheduling, coordinate with Purchasing, Spice Room and warehouses to ensure material availability, and supervise grinding, mixing, stuffing and cooking to maintain high quality while minimizing rejections.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant

• Strong production, time management and leadership skills
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP and FSSC V6 standards

Responsibilities

• Implements and follows approved production schedules
• Coordinates with Spice Room, Purchasing and Dry/Raw Materials Warehouse for material availability
• Supervises grinding/cutting, mixing, stuffing & cooking of frozen processed meat to ensure quality and minimize rejections
• Schedules production to maximize labor and machine capacity
• Coordinates with R&D on process changes
• Enforces GMP, HACCP policies and waste segregation; escalate violations to management
• Monitors daily attendance and ensures coverage in critical areas for continuity of Operations
• Troubleshoots operational issues and recommends process improvements to boost productivity
• Reviews monitoring reports and ensures availability during audits

• 1. Implements and makes follow through on approved production schedule.
• 2. Coordinates with Spice Room, Purchasing and Dry and Raw Materials Warehouse regarding availability of materials
• 3. Monitors and supervises the grinding/cutting, mixing, stuffing & cooking of all frozen processed meat produced to ensure high quality finished products and minimize rejections.
• 4. Administers scheduling of products to be produced to maximize labor and machine capacity.
• 5. Coordinates with R & D pertaining to the changes in process, procedures and meat blocks.
• 6. Enforces observance of GMP, HACCP policies and waste segregation, violators will be endorsed to agency management for appropriate action.
• 7. Monitors daily attendance of workers and in case of absences. See to it that critical areas are supplemented w/ required work force to ensure continuity of Operations.
• 8. Troubleshoot operational issues, identify & recommends process improvement to attain. The targets & improve productivity.
• 9. Monitors & review monitoring report and ensure availability during audits.

Job Qualifications

• BS Engineering, BS Food Technology or any related course
• With a least 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing plant; at least 1-2 years in supervisory capacity
• Good in production and time management and leadership skills
• Knowledgeable on industry’s GMP, HACCP and FSSC V6 standard and requirements
