Job summary

Sumidenso Automotive Technologies Asia Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Production Planning professional. The role focuses on creating and managing efficient schedules to align materials, labor, and equipment with demand, while controlling costs.

You will coordinate resources across Sales, Procurement, and Production, leverage ERP/MRP systems, and drive LEAN improvements to optimize throughput and inventory levels. A degree in Industrial Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in Production Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Control processes.
• Experience in electronics industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
• Resource Coordination: Ensure raw materials, machinery, and labor are available for production runs.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and initiate material orders.
• Demand Planning: Collaborate with the Resource Persons to forecast demand and adjust plans.
• Process Optimization: Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and implement LEAN principles.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot production bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues.
• Reporting: Track progress, report on performance, and maintain production records.
