Description
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, orders, and capacity.
- Track production output versus plan and report variances.
- Identify delays, shortages, or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure production targets (quantity, quality, and timeline) are met.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing to ensure the availability of raw materials.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Help prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Logistics teams.
- Maintain accurate production records, schedules, and reports.
- Assist in improving production efficiency and workflow.
- Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Loading & Dispatch Operations, including Shipping and Documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Technical or vocational graduates with relevant experience may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations.
- Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.
- A background in SAP and CAD is required for this position.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic production reporting tools.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
