Job description

The Production Planner is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure timely and cost-efficient manufacturing of products. This is done by regular coordination with connecting departments like Merchandising, Purchasing, Material Warehouse (Fabric and Accessories), Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Creative and Product Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer due dates, aligning them with material availability and production capacity.
• Resource Coordination: Working with purchasing and production teams to coordinate the flow of materials and ensure production is ready and maximized.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking production progress, identifying bottlenecks, and consulting Department Heads on solutions to be implemented to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Cost Management: Monitoring production costs to ensure processes operate within budget and looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Reporting: Communicating production status, issues, and performance to Division Manager.
