We are looking for a skilled and dependable Production Machine Technician to support the smooth and efficient operation of production machinery and equipment. The role is responsible for machine setup, operation support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs to ensure continuous production and minimize machine downtime.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment, and has completed a vocational or technical course related to mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial technology, or a related field.
Monitor and maintain production machines and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
Perform routine inspection, machine setup, adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, and basic calibration.
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and identify the root cause of equipment issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
Respond promptly to machine problems to minimize production downtime.
Assist in machine changeovers, product adjustments, and equipment testing.
Check machine performance and report abnormalities, defects, or potential equipment failures.
Replace worn-out, damaged, or defective machine components as required.
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Coordinate with Production Operators and Maintenance personnel regarding machine issues and repair requirements.
Ensure production machines are operating according to established safety and quality standards.
Maintain records of machine inspections, breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Follow company policies, GMP, safety procedures, and production standards, particularly in a food manufacturing environment.
Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around machines and production areas.
Perform other technical and production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Graduate of a Vocational, Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related course.
At least 2 years of experience as a Production Machine Technician, Machine Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
Experience in a manufacturing or food production industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of production machinery, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot machine and equipment problems effectively.
Knowledge in the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
Willing to work in a production environment and on a shifting schedule.
Willing to render overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
Physically capable of performing technical and maintenance tasks in a production environment.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and safety awareness.
