We are seeking a Production Equipment Specialist to support daily manufacturing operations by handling production machinery, monitoring equipment performance, and assisting with basic technical concerns. The position will help ensure that machines are operating properly, production targets are met, and workplace safety and quality requirements are consistently followed.
Operate assigned production equipment in accordance with approved operating procedures.
Prepare machines and production equipment before the start of each production run.
Monitor equipment conditions and identify unusual sounds, movements, temperatures, or other signs of potential problems.
Make basic machine adjustments to maintain proper production flow and output.
Perform initial troubleshooting when equipment issues occur and **escalate** major concerns to the appropriate technical or maintenance personnel.
Carry out routine equipment checks, cleaning, lubrication, and other basic upkeep activities.
Assist maintenance personnel during machine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
Support machine changeovers and adjustments when switching between products or production requirements.
Conduct basic checks on finished products and production output to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Record machine readings, production information, downtime, and other required operational data.
Immediately communicate equipment defects, production delays, safety hazards, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain an orderly and safe work area and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
Observe company policies, workplace safety procedures, GMP, food safety practices, and other applicable standards.
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize equipment-related interruptions.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in machine operation, production equipment, manufacturing, or a similar technical role.
Background in manufacturing or food production/processing is preferred.
Graduate of a vocational, technical, or industrial-related course.
Familiarity with production machinery and basic equipment troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems is an advantage.
Able to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and production standards.
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and observation skills.
Physically capable of performing work in a production environment.
Willing to work on a shifting schedule, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
Willing to work in a manufacturing/production facility.
Candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Production Technician, Equipment Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Process Technician, or Industrial Technician are encouraged to apply.
