Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking senior software engineers who own features end-to-end, from idea to release, and collaborate with product and design teams. The role emphasizes understanding problems, shaping solutions, and delivering high-quality outcomes with AI-accelerated development.

You will build across .NET backend and React frontend, create clear plans, write automated tests, and demo early to gather feedback for rapid iteration.

About the role

We’re moving towards a modelwhereengineersown features end-to-end.

With AI speeding up implementation, coding is no longer the bottleneck. The focus has shifted tounderstanding problems, shaping solutions, managing dependencies, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

We’re looking forsenior engineerswho are comfortable taking a feature from idea → plan → build → test → release, while working closely with stakeholders and product teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Own features end-to-end (planning → implementation → testing → handover)
• Work directly withproduct,design,stakeholders, and other teamsto understand requirements
• Break work intovertical slicesthat deliver real user value
• Create clear implementation plans (approach, edge cases, risks, dependencies)
• Build across.NET (backend) and React (frontend)
• Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development
• Write and maintain automated tests (Playwright for E2E)
• Demo early, gather feedback, and iterate quickly
• Identify and managedependencies proactivelyto avoid rework

Qualifications and Requirements

Solid system design & engineering fundamentals

• Experience designing and buildingscalable, maintainable systems
• Strong understanding of APIs, data flow, and application architecture
• Able to makepragmatic design decisionsbalancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability

Strong product mindset

• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and asking the right questions
• Able to understand the“why” behind a feature
• Can work with ambiguous requirements and shape them into clear solutions

End-to-end ownership

• Can take a loosely defined feature and drive it through to delivery
• Doesn’t rely on fully defined tickets to get started
• Takes accountability for both outcome and quality

Strong slicing and planning skills

• Can break down features intowell-sized vertical slices (~1–2 daychunks)
• Keeps work small enough to review and test effectively
• Avoids both over-granular tasks and overly large “epic-sized” work

Quality-first mindset

• Builds with testing and reliability in mind
• Experience withunit, integration, and E2E testing (Playwright preferred)
• Thinks through failure scenarios, not just happy path

Dependency and change management

• Proactively identifies dependencies across teams or systems
• Flags risks early and works to minimise rework
• Comfortable operating in environments where things change mid-stream

Desirable -AI-assisted development (practical, not theoretical)

• Experience using tools likeClaude Code, GitHub Copilot (or similar)
• Treats AI as an accelerator — validates output, handles edge cases, and maintains code quality
• Uses AI to speed up delivery without increasing risk
