Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced market researcher and product strategist to join our fintech-focused team. The role requires deep expertise in product development, market research, and customer insights to guide decisions.

You will design and manage qualitative and quantitative studies, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Banking, payments, or regulated financial services backgrounds are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Communication Research, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• A master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage but is not mandatory.
• At least five years of relevant experience in product development, market research, customer insights, user research, product strategy, product management, business intelligence, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience leading research projects, managing team members, or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Experience translating research findings into recommendations used in product or business decisions.
• Previous experience in banking, lending, payments, insurance, fintech, e-wallets, or another regulated financial-services environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience establishing a new research capability, process, or team is an advantage.
