Job summary

HelloConnect in Manila leads a Procurement Team Leader role within the NA Supply Chain Enablement function. You will manage a team of Purchasing Coordinators, ensuring precise purchasing, strong governance, and data integrity.

You will collaborate with HelloFresh cluster teams, drive KPI performance, and implement SOPs to standardize processes across regions, while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year college graduate, preferably with a strong background in Supply Chain Operations, Management or any Business-related course.
• At least 3 years experience in procurement, supply chain and/or data entry; at least 1 year of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Purchasing Coordinators to execute purchasing activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with local HelloFresh supply chain cluster teams to align on daily operations and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely flow of information to stakeholders; manage KPIs and OTIF delivery.
• Develop governance frameworks, SOPs, and onboarding processes to scale operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of purchasing processes across regions.

As a Procurement Team Leader, you will take on a key responsibility in leading a team of Purchasing Coordinators within our NA Supply Chain Enablement function, contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of Purchasing Coordinators to accurately and efficiently carry out purchasing activities
• Partner closely with local HelloFresh supply chain cluster teams to execute daily operations through ruthless prioritization, clear governance and alignment on strategic initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and correct flow of information to relevant stakeholders involved in the daily activities.
• Drive team performance and accountability across core metrics, ensuring On Time, In Full (OTIF) delivery, maintaining zero past-due invoices, and securing accurate, timely execution of coordinator responsibilities.
• Ownership of the inbound supply chain operations involving operational supplier management, purchasing, delivery tracking and KPI management for your category area.
• Define a governance and reporting framework to escal… and manage risks throughout the NA supply chain.
• Establish and drive consistency across all regions and assign workload in the team accordingly to ensure team objectives are met. Regularly review team capacity to reallocate resources effectively and strengthen the service capabilities.
• Generate documentation in the form of SOPs to ensure efficient onboarding and BAU operations of your team.
• Build a continuous improvement culture to harmonize and automate the purchasing process. Compile tooling requests and recommendations.
• Set up measures to report on performance of the Purchasing services, present to key stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
• Provide guidance, support and feedback to ensure that all team members meet their performance goals and deadlines. Motivate your team to go above and beyond.
• Serve as the subject matter expert of the team, role modeling problem solving behaviours
• Remain flexible and responsive to changing business needs, supporting on day to day tasks as needed and covering absences when required

What you'll bring

• At least a four-year college graduate preferably with a strong background in Supply Chain Operations, Management or any Business-related course.
• At least three years experience working within procurement, supply chain and/or as a data entry clerk. At least one year of people management experience is required.
• Experience managing or reporting on KPIs
• Experience in SOP development and implementation.
• Strong coaching, performance management, and feedback skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Google Workspace, inventory management, and transportation management systems.
• Experience using AI tools is a plus.
