Job summary

Angkas is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to establish foundations for cost savings, process improvements, and compliant sourcing of goods and services. You will manage supplier performance, SLAs, and end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement with a focus on quality.

You’ll lead a procurement team, oversee payments, and coordinate with stakeholders while driving continuous improvements and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Strong Negotiation skills
• BS in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
• Understanding of procurement procedures

Responsibilities

• Managing a full procurement process which includes sourcing and managing of vendors and stakeholders according to SLAs, creating and reviewing spec sheets and quotes, site inspections, payment processing, etc.
• General work reporting.
• Miscellaneous tasks needed within the Procurement team.
• Research potential vendors.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed targets and other key objectives assigned by your Immediate Manager
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Accept other associated responsibilities and projects as the need arises.
