JB Packaging Corporation is seeking a Procurement Staff to support sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials to ensure cost efficiency and timely operations. You will handle PRs/POs, supplier coordination, and documentation while upholding company policies and quality standards.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in procurement or related roles, a relevant degree, and strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in ERP and MS Office is preferred.
To support the procurement function by ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, goods, and services required by the organization. The Procurement Staff assists in supplier coordination, purchase order processing, documentation, and monitoring of deliveries while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with company procurement procedures.
Source suppliers and request quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Evaluate supplier quotations and assist in selecting the most suitable vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmation, delivery schedules, and shipment status.
Monitor and track procurement orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and requesting departments to ensure proper receipt of goods.
Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents prior to endorsement for payment processing.
Assist in resolving issues related to order discrepancies, delivery delays, or supplier concerns.
Support compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Preferably college level on any course; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field is an advantage.
At least 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related administrative work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience in ERP systems, purchasing systems, or procurement software is preferred.
