Job summary

Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) in Mandaluyong is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the assigned procurement category and monitor ongoing requirements for the unit and foundation.

You will assist the Team Lead, conduct canvassing activities, process POs, and nurture supplier relationships to ensure quality delivery and value for program needs. Strong communication with management and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field with emphasis on procurement or supply chain.
• At least two years’ experience in procurement and/or supply chain.
• Good interpersonal, process-oriented, structured and ethical work standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Team Lead in team direction and activities.
• In-charge of the assigned procurement category and related transactions.
• Lead canvassing/sourcing activities and market sensing to provide value.
• Process Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor procurement timelines.
• Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate terms with vendors.
