Job summary

J&T Cargo in the Philippines is seeking a Procurement Associate to manage supplier sourcing, negotiate terms, process purchase orders, and maintain supplier records. The role requires 1–2 years of procurement experience and strong Excel skills, with coordination across Finance, Legal, and Warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and proactive problem-solving to support procurement operations within a dynamic supply chain.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course; preferred fields: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or related.
• 1–2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Knowledge in sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle supplier sourcing, canvassing, quotation comparison, and negotiation.
• Process and monitor purchase orders and deliveries.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, payment, delivery, and other concerns.
• Prepare quotation comparison and procurement reports using Excel.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Warehouse, and other departments as needed.
• Perform other procurement-related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.
