Job summary

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a procurement professional to oversee local and international purchasing, supplier coordination, import documentation, and logistics support from our Taguig office. You will ensure timely sourcing and delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and customs requirements.

Collaborate with regional procurement teams, freight forwarders, and customs agents to expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, and manage shipment concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• Experience in local and import procurement operations.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordination.
• Experience with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders.
• At least 1 year experience in procurement or customs or similar field preferred.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or related customs clearance experience preferred.
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on inventory availability and operational needs.
• Process purchase orders with proper documentation and timely supplier communication.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers (including China-based) on orders and schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate suppliers.
• Respond to inquiries on order status, changes, or delivery concerns.
• Perform sourcing, quotation review, supplier coordination, and order management.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents to expedit e deliveries and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with regional procurement teams to align processes and requirements.
• Support import procurement activities by coordinating documentation and customs requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure policy compliance.
