Job summary

J&T Express is seeking a procurement professional to manage local and international purchasing, including supplier coordination, purchase processing, import documentation, and logistics support. The role ensures timely sourcing and delivery while complying with company policies and customs requirements.

Key responsibilities include reviewing requests and POs, coordinating with China-based suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customs Administration, or related field.
• 1+ year of local and import procurement experience.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and import procedures.
• Experience with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on inventory availability and operational needs.
• Review and process purchase orders with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers, including China-based, on orders and shipments.
• Negotiate with suppliers for pricing and delivery terms.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Perform purchasing activities including sourcing and quotation review.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to expedite deliveries.
• Collaborate with regional procurement teams to align processes.
• Support import procurement by coordinating documentation and customs requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and compliance.
