Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Coordinator II, Procurement Excellence Expediting to coordinate and expedite Commercial Change Order activities, ensuring timely completion, supplier responsiveness, and SLA adherence. The role interfaces with suppliers, Category Managers, Engineering, MDM and Procurement to drive sourcing, quotations, and change management.

The incumbent will monitor RFQs, perform follow-ups, analyze quote status, and coordinate actions to maintain workflow efficiency and support business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a 4-year program (Engineering/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Business)
• 1-3 years related experience
• Fluent and Conversant in English (written and verbal)
• Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
• Basic MS Excel knowledge
• Basic MS PowerPoint knowledge
• Detail-oriented

• Strong written and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand AI, RPA, and ML to support process improvement and automation

Responsibilities

• Manage and expedite CCO activities under Procurement from RFQs through completion
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirmations, and required sourcing information
• Conduct proactive follow-ups and escalations to ensure timely supplier responses
• Review Change Orders and validate completeness of documentation
• Coordinate with Category Managers for pending approvals and critical part numbers
• Update KPI dashboards for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive closure
• Promote quality governance to mitigate escalations
• Update trackers and reports related to Change Order performance
• Coordinate solutions and recommendations for stakeholder/supplier queries
• Record and submit periodic transaction records and slide decks
• Participate in business overview presentations and KPI reporting
• Facilitate conference calls and meetings with stakeholders/suppliers
• Contribute to SLA performance and operational efficiency
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives
• Provide guidance to junior team members
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards
• Serve as back-up for related function for business continuity
