Job summary

San Miguel Foods seeks a procurement professional to assist in sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing aligned with company policies. The role handles PRS, POs, and order-tracking while coordinating with operations, logistics, and finance to clarify requirements.

Responsibilities include supporting CAPEX/OPEX procurement, maintaining records and supplier data, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring policy and budget compliance. Experience in logistics procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
• 1+ year of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in logistics procurement and/or CAPEX/OPEX sourcing preferred.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
• Assist in supplier evaluation, accreditation, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and applicable regulations.
• Support inventory-related coordination and cost-control initiatives.
• Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned by the Procurement Manager

2. Qualifications

• Relevant procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CPP, CIPS, CPSM) are a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with procurement systems is an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

3. Years of Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing
• Experience in logistics procurement and/or CAPEX/OPEX sourcing is preferred
