Responsible for providing strategic and technical support in optimizing warehouse operations and logistics infrastructure. This role ensures continuous process improvements and cost improvement projects.
Job Functions
- Identify opportunities for operational and cost efficiency within warehouse and logistics processes.
- Lead Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Develop and standardize operating procedures, tools, and templates for logistics operations in a way that leverages on CPFI’s scale.
- Conduct process audits to ensure adherence to approved standards and policies.
Warehouse Design & Optimization
- Develop layout and racking design plans that optimize warehouse space, material flow, and safety.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new warehouse projects, relocations, or expansions.
- Assess the flow of goods in CPFI’s current warehouses, identifying bottlenecks to increase throughput of each individual warehouse.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations in implementing automation, material handling systems, and ergonomic improvements.
Warehouse Capacity Planning
- Lead the analysis of inventory growth, throughput, and storage utilization throughout the collective DC network to support capacity planning.
- Recommend infrastructure or operational adjustments to ensure warehouses meet demand efficiently.
- Use modeling tools and data analytics to simulate capacity scenarios and propose solutions to potential bottlenecks.
- Support the development of warehouse masterplans in alignment with business forecasts.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Operations, Planning, and IT teams to ensure that technical solutions align with overall supply chain strategies.
- Provide technical input in strategic projects such as network optimization, automation, and digital transformation.
- Mentor and train staff on warehouse design principles, process improvement tools, and technical project management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (Master’s Degree or equivalent experience is an advantage)
- Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain technical support, with 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Certifications (preferred): Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related process improvement / warehouse design certification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in process optimization and lean methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to report onsite at least four (4) days per week in Ortigas, Pasig, with one (1) work-from-home day weekly.
