Private Advertiser is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Admin to join our Lipa City, Batangas facility on a full-time basis. This role blends engineering analysis with administrative duties to streamline warehouse processes and optimize freight operations.

The successful candidate will analyse workflows, develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and regulatory compliance across our logistics and warehousing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
• Familiarity with WMS and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise warehouse and logistics operations to identify inefficiencies.
• Design workflows, SOPs, and documentation for freight handling.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics to track productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct time studies and workload assessments for staffing.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams and management for daily operations.
• Implement safety protocols per HSE regulations.
• Support capacity planning and equipment utilisation.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management.
• Assist with cost analysis, budgeting and identifying opportunities for savings.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer/Admin to join our team at our Lipa City, Batangas facility on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that combines technical engineering expertise with administrative responsibilities, positioned to optimise our operational efficiency and support our growth objectives. You will play a crucial role in streamlining processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring compliance across our freight forwarding operations.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse and optimise warehouse and logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Design and develop workflows, standard operating procedures and documentation systems for freight handling and cargo management
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct time studies and workload assessments to ensure optimal resource allocation and staffing levels
• Manage administrative functions including scheduling, record-keeping, compliance documentation and reporting
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, logistics coordinators and management to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
• Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all operational areas
• Support capacity planning, layout optimisation and equipment utilisation strategies
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management
• Assist with cost analysis, budgeting and identifying opportunities for operational savings

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement frameworks
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, database management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability and attention to detail
• Familiarity with freight forwarding, logistics operations or warehouse management is highly desirable
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to logistics and warehousing
• Proficiency in project management and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion
