Schneider Electric in Mexico City is offering an Intern, Apprentice, or Trainee opportunity in Customer Projects, Solutions and Services to support delivery activities and learn how we bring projects from planning to successful execution.

You will work with automation proposals, collaborate with engineering teams, and gain hands-on experience in documentation, proposal development, and process standardization within a global environment. Hybrid work in our Mexico City HUB is available.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering, graduating in December 2027 or later.
  • Available to remain in the internship program for at least one year.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (B2+ preferred).
  • Proficient with MS Office especially Excel and Word.
  • Interest in process automation and proposal development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of automation proposals for industrial customers.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Help maintain proposal databases, templates, and tender documentation.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Control & Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, graduating in December 2027 or later.
  • Available to remain in the internship program for at least one year and currently in the final semesters of your degree.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (B2+ preferred), with the ability to read, write, and present in English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Interest in process automation, industrial systems, power systems, and proposal development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive attitude, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Team-oriented mindset and openness to guidance as you build practical knowledge.
