Job summary

LawnStarter is growing its QA capability and seeks a Principal Quality Engineer who will own the quality strategy across the engineering organization. You will drive AI-native tooling, set quality standards, and mentor the QA squad to raise the bar as the company scales.

You will report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with EMs, PMs, and engineers to ensure robust quality across CI/CD, testing, and production monitoring.

Qualifications

• Own quality standards and tooling across QA squads.
• Lead QA engineers and mentor across teams.
• Drive AI-native quality tooling and testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define the quality strategy and roadmap for the organization.
• Oversee CI/CD gates, test infrastructure, and performance budgets.
• Partner with EMs, PMs, and engineers to improve quality across the stack.
• Coach QA engineers and influence performance reviews as the squad grows.
