Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Chief QA Automation Engineer to own quality assurance for an enterprise AI platform built on MCP Servers. You will lead test strategy, develop Python automation, and ensure robust integration testing across APIs and tools.

The role requires deep experience with MCP, GenAI/LLM architectures, and CI/CD pipelines, with strong English communication. Join a global team delivering cutting-edge AI solutions across international projects.

Qualifications

7+ years of QA/test strategy experience.
2+ years guiding and supervising development teams.
Deep understanding of MCP Server/Model Context Protocol.
Strong Python automation with API/integration testing.
Experience validating distributed backend systems and microservices.
Knowledge of GenAI/LLM and agent-driven architectures (MCP integrations).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing approaches.
Excellent English communication (B2 level or higher).

Responsibilities

Review docs to craft QA strategy for MCP-based AI solutions.
Develop Python-based automated testing suites for MCP Servers and integrations.
Verify MCP protocol operation including authentication and tool integration tests.
Investigate agent-to-MCP-tool sequences and test various success/failure scenarios.
Evaluate stability, performance, and production-readiness of MCP services.
Set up quality gates and integrate automated tests into CI/CD.
Identify root causes of test failures and collaborate with devs to resolve.
