LawnStarter is hiring a Principal Quality Engineer to own and advance the company-wide quality strategy. You will lead the QA vision, improve tooling, and collaborate with the QA squad to scale testing across its CI/CD pipelines.

This role emphasizes AI-native quality tooling and technical mentorship across engineering teams. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will drive standards, establish quality contracts with teams, and shape how we measure success at scale.

Qualifications

• Lead the QA strategy and tooling across the org.
• Own AI-native quality tooling and test automation.
• Mentor QA engineers across squads and collaborate with EMs/PMs.

Responsibilities

• Own quality standards and gates and drive continuous improvement across teams.
• Collaborate with the QA squad to scale testing practices and reduce flakiness.
• Develop production quality signals, dashboards, and incident responses.
